am very very glad to see this beautiful pictures of Madras. and i am proud to be in this land. is it possible to mail all this pictures in good resolution to my mail. if so i would be more than happy to receive it
i am really proud of my city in 1940. Because my city has to been compare to foregin. Iam really enjoyed the pictures but i will missed it that period life.
It's sad that such a nice place like ours is become so bad.We and the leadership is to blame for this rot.We do not respect our history andwe go about chopping and renaming and supposedly beautifying everything!!!!
We find some reason or the other to pull down everything the british did.Though we do need our identity, we need not erase our past.Frankly, the chennai that we are talking about now is a creation of the british.no one can change that.
